At 快猫app短视鈥檚 Office of Research, we are committed to advancing research that drives innovation and creates positive, real-world impact. As a Carnegie Doctoral 鈥� High Research Activity Institution (R2), we follow the principles of public impact research, in line with the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities, supporting work that not only fosters academic excellence but also improves communities and solves global challenges.

With over 26,000 students across campuses in Statesboro, Savannah, and Hinesville, as well as a learning center in Wexford, Ireland, our research encompasses a wide array of disciplines鈥攆rom the sciences and engineering to education, health, and the humanities. Whether investigating new technologies, addressing social justice issues, or exploring cultural history, our faculty and students are empowered to make meaningful contributions across fields.

Research Foundation

The 快猫app短视 Research and Service Foundation, Inc.(GSURSF), is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that fosters and promotes the research, service, and educational missions of 快猫app短视. The Foundation functions as a cooperative organization to the University and is subject to and complies with all policies of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia regarding cooperative organizations. The Foundation obtains grants and contractual obligations from individuals, government and public agencies, industry sponsors and private organizations to support research, instruction, and service activities at Georgia Southern.

Research Committees and University Partners

The Faculty Research Committee plays a critical role in fostering a vibrant research environment at the University. Through recommending research policies, funding initiatives, and award programs, the committee ensures that faculty members have the support and resources needed to pursue innovative research projects.

Computational Research Technical Support is a specialized area of IT Services to build and support a comprehensive program to advance computational research at 快猫app短视. They provide high-performance computing (HPC) systems and similar systems for high throughput and data-intensive computing for our faculty and students.
