Research Foundation
The ¿ìèapp¶ÌÊÓ Research and Service Foundation, Inc.(GSURSF), is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that fosters and promotes the research, service, and educational missions of ¿ìèapp¶ÌÊÓ. The Foundation functions as a cooperative organization to the University and is subject to and complies with all policies of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia regarding cooperative organizations. The Foundation obtains grants and contractual obligations from individuals, government and public agencies, industry sponsors and private organizations to support research, instruction, and service activities at Georgia Southern.

The Faculty Research Committee plays a critical role in fostering a vibrant research environment at the University. Through recommending research policies, funding initiatives, and award programs, the committee ensures that faculty members have the support and resources needed to pursue innovative research projects.

Computational Research Technical Support is a specialized area of IT Services to build and support a comprehensive program to advance computational research at ¿ìèapp¶ÌÊÓ. They provide high-performance computing (HPC) systems and similar systems for high throughput and data-intensive computing for our faculty and students.
